Qualifications:

2. Coach, mentor and collaborate with district staff to assess area-wide resources, readiness and capacity of administrators, educators, and community resources.

3. May have multiple districts to serve.

 

Duties:

  • This position serves as a liaison between school districts, NKESC, all FRONTIER staff and the community at-large to develop trauma-informed districts, staff, and communities. Each District Liaison will work independently to coach and mentor staff within assigned districts. They will have a wide-range of opportunities to collaborate with their peers to develop inter-district collaborations.
  • They will identify potential leaders and mentors for short- and long-term program needs. They will work collaboratively to develop and expand school/community connections and partnerships between parents, district, and community leaders.
  • District Liaisons will collaborate with appropriate personnel to compile and maintain records related to identified schools, community, and student/family needs, initiatives and services provided.
  • District Liaisons will implement evidence-based programs that meet fidelity standards. They will maintain a firsthand approach in coaching and mentoring program volunteers and staff with frequent interaction throughout program planning and delivery.

 

Other: Frontier District Liaisons will attend district and community programs or events regularly. They will have weekly meetings/teleconferences with the Frontier team to ensure appropriate and timely on-going planning and support all program initiatives.

Liaisons must demonstrate an extensive knowledge of public education school systems, school climates. District Liaisons will have opportunities to be trained in implementing evidence-based practices with fidelity. They must be able to work independently and collaboratively in setting and meeting program goals and guidelines. Quality communication and collaboration skills, including public speaking / presentation skills are necessary.
